Terms of service · last updated 20 October 2026

The rules, minus the lawyer-speak.

These terms govern gomarty.net and the services of GoMarty Consulting ("we", "us"): the free website scan, the paid website audits (Security Sweep, Full Audit, Deep Audit), client accounts, and our one-page website service. By creating an account, submitting a website brief, or paying an invoice, you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

1. What the service is

2. Your account

Keep your login to yourself and give us accurate details. One free scan per account. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account — and everything attached to it — at any time from your dashboard.

3. The one-page website service, honestly

4. What we promise — and what we don't

We promise honest, careful work and straight answers. We don't promise #1 on Google, a specific number of customers, or that every automated finding applies to your exact situation — findings are professional observations, not guarantees. Scans and audits look only at publicly visible information.

5. Paid work

Audits are invoiced on order and delivered to your dashboard automatically once PayFast confirms payment — usually within the hour, no waiting on us. The one-page website setup (R1,500) is payable once your site is built and shown to you as a preview; the R299/month card subscription starts 7 days after go-live. Your dashboard keeps a full payment history of everything you've paid. Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Because audits and builds are labour delivered to you, completed work isn't refundable — but if something's wrong with what we delivered, we fix it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't scan sites you have no business scanning in bulk, hammer the service, resell the free scan, or use your website for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful. We can suspend accounts and take down sites that cross this line — with a warning first unless it's serious.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses (lost profit, lost customers) arising from using the service, and our total liability is capped at what you've paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under South African consumer law.

8. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms materially, we'll say so on the site before the change takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. South African law governs these terms.
